CTT Portugal proudly presents a unique special stamp designed to inspire hope for overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic. This innovative stamp features graphene material and integrates NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, providing a modern twist to traditional philately. The stamp reveals a coded message with the powerful poem “Contagion” by esteemed doctor and writer Miguel Torga, written in Coimbra on 15 September 1951.
Graphene, a cutting-edge nanomaterial with notable antimicrobial and diagnostic properties, plays a key role in the stamp’s design, symbolizing science and resilience in addressing global challenges like COVID-19.
To access the NFC message, simply enable NFC on your Android device by going to the Settings app, searching for “NFC,” and toggling the switch.
